Pricing Model for the HPP Label
The costs for using the HPP Europe label are transparent and fair.
They are based on the number of product SKUs that bear the seal, enabling all members – from start-ups to large corporations – to participate cost-effectively.
Below you will find the scale of label fees per SKU as well as instructions for application and integration into your product range.
General requirements
(for all categories)
-
The manufacturer should use standardized HPP parameters (e.g., 400–600 MPa, 2–6 minutes) as a starting point, but optimize them for each formulation.
-
A maximum temperature (e.g. 30 °C) should be maintained during the process, unless otherwise required.
Internal protocol / dossier for each recipe with test data, interpretations, responsibilities and date.
Every change (recipe, packaging, process, logistics) requires a new validation.
The association reserves the right to conduct random product tests to ensure compliance.
Only products that meet and document all requirements are allowed to bear the HPP Quality Label.
